Well, this is exactly the kind of insanity we signed up for. Well, not Davis, but the rest of us are 100% in on the adventure that is Rotgut.

New Merch at the store!
Horror, at its core, is primal. You don’t need a multi-million dollar design budget or advanced realtime bullet physics to make something scary. You just have to have an idea that is raw, and the honesty to execute it. P.T. perfectly illustrates this point. It takes place entirely in one hallway. It didn’t have complicated AI. There weren’t a dozen characters to design and model. Hell, there weren’t even that many scares. And it was absolutely terrifying. It distilled the concepts of the ill-fated Silent Hills into a dense moment of terror. It was its own compact experience, and a glimpse into something much more. Many games have tried to imitate P.T. in content. A million spooky hallways with a trillion collectible notes. Some of these are fantastic. But what about that concept? To distill your dream project into something condensed, raw, and real? That was the question posed to 10 brilliant creators. Make a PT for the horror project of your dreams. Both a game on its own, and a window into a much larger world. Make it raw. Make it real. Make it a reflection of your own fears. Make it in just 7 days.dread x, dread x collection, summer nights, summer night, summer night airdorf, horror, survival horror, indie game, indie game, horror indie game, scary indie game, scary indie games, scary, mrkravin, cjugames, jonh wolfe, outlast, P.T., PT, silent hill, until dawn, scariest, scary games, horror games, silent hills, dread x collection gameplay, dread x collection review, the pony factory, jumpscare, And they did. guys you should totally explore some abandoned tunnels!! davis can like facetime or smth if he wants tho lol
When they were talking about their motto, I really expected "That'll take the edge off" to come out.
I do like the buildup of this one but I also wish it had more of a payoff though it was really funny. Maybe less time spent on the back-and-forth.
what I got from this "game" is that if you give Alex a treadmill and put it in a dark room, he'll be like a child on Christmas morning and calling it the greatest game he ever played
Hmm… that felt like a complete waste of time. Nearly 30 minutes of walking through a tunnel.
troll game lol
In true SGS fashion they somehow missed the entire thing xD
Id love to see you guys play this again to get other stuff and endings. Its kinda random.
I’m angry they got a shit end
"Check the drawer. If it's empty, we're in a horror game." xD
Also, today on walking simulator….How to lose an organ by exploring long dark tunnels filled with graffiti.
"this is a good video"
"Where’s the payoff?" Felt really fitting for the end of this
The opaque faces legit scared me 😢😭
I love that thumbnail. I really like that the door handle looks like a dick for Rotgut. xD
This game had such a nice concept, and probably could have pulled it off if it was either shorter, or had more elements to it to pull in interest. It kind of reminds me of the backrooms game. Alot of potential but there needed to be more.
I'm so happy you guys are continuing this 🙂 and that you're all okay. keep on keep on fellas and stay safe ya'll
No I'm with Davis, this was trash. He summed it up 100% with his description.
After hearing about some of the other endings, I vote for doing Rotgut again.
Ah the famous line from Harry Potter: and the Chamber of Secret, spoken by Tom Riddle, to Harry, after Harry finally enters the chamber, and finds out Tom was who gave Ginny the diary; explaining why, to Harry: “Eeeeeeeeeeh-I’m Voldemort or whatever”
Moral of the story; drugs are bad, mkay?
as an Italian it triggers me when they call for "nonna" a saiyng it wrong… geez
You did it! Lol you found BTS! 💜
I thought Alex said rotgut the hole time
I’m still not convinced that wasn’t Alex… lol
Other endings pleeeeeeesae.
Seeing as this has multiple possible random endings, you guys should play this again, except each one on a separate game, simultaneously, and make the video a split screen of 4 games with different outcomes.
Man Davis is such a bummer. He hardly adds anything constructive, just shouts over everyone else and about things he doesn't really understand. Also calling someone "lazy" for just making a short little game… what's he made lately?
I am… TUGTOR!
oh my god that ending made me laugh so hard! I loved this
"You like everything."
"I don't like everything."
"You like *The Last Jedi.*"
Chef's kiss
I desperately wish this collection was more mainstream so there would be more discussions on the games.
"Hyperdeath"
V1 Intensifies
That blew my fucking mind.
No reaction to there begin Jesse in a grafitti?
for the love of all that is holy stop flashing that god damned bright ass light every 5 seconds on an otherwise pitch black video. the game looks neat, but that was awful.
also, i swear the perspective was changing slowly over time, like by the end they were shorter than when they entered.
I think the lockdown is getting to Jesse. He lacked any of his usual Coxian curiosity during this playthru.
Davis would without a doubt be the final survivor of the SGS horror movie, simply because there is no way in hell he would ever go investigate a strange noise or wander through an abandoned anything. Alex, on the other hand, would be first to die.
This game kind of fascinates me. I feel like there's more to it that we haven't found. The flyer changes after seeing Rotgut and I feel like there's something more to do with it. My first attempt I missed the tunnel, walked through the forest, and fell off the edge of the map and died. After that I walked all the way down the tunnel and back until it ended. I feel like there are secrets here. Probably not a true ending, it's the journey afterall, but more to said journey.
Also the height thing really bugged me, I fell off the cliff to get to the party, so I thought I had partly clipped through the ground.
Wait, holy crap! I just fell over coughing and died outside! So there's gotta be at least 3 endings! I really hope people dig into this one and find a lot of cool stuff.
It would be so cool if you guys did something like this IRL like Alex said. Im sure there is some "haunted" tunnels near you guys I've heard of, Devils Gate Damn is in LA I think, there is a tunnel you can go in there
A. Rotgut is cool and also rad. But
B. Dread X has such "the best dreamcast sampler disc" vibes. just like no whole games, just super weird/cool experiences.
Squigglevision. Where's Brendan Small when you need him?
Davis's take on ROTGUT was hilarious, had me laughing the whole time at the end there. 💯👌
I can also see where Alex is coming from tho too, it really was a simulation of the kind of conversation they'd have in a tunnel full of weird shit.
The range of quality from these games is incredibly varied. Im with Davis the others are way to nice for this game. Even if it is an indie game jam or whatever of quick development at least some of the other games showed something interesting or with a lot of potential if in some alternate universe they were made into real games. Still its always fun to hear the boys even if the game is lackluster
This note read reminds me the vtmb radio commercials lol
we did it kpop stans 😳😌
It's the case of a game that's more complex then you'd think considering it was meant for a quick game combo. Honestly, I kinda think that if you're asked to make a quick game you shouldn't throw in several endings as I would think a lot of people wouldn't expect that and won't play it more than once.
More Rotgut, complestionist episode!
After the 200th time seeing the glaring white flyer, I started suspecting it wasn't going to change
Y'all should play Moons of Madness, another Secret World inspired game
WOULD LOVE to see u guys do some other endings 😀
