  • Stupid, the flicker is not because of the camera. It is because tv is not a montior. You are going to kill your eyes. Well if you are indian you would rather kill your eyes then your wallet.

  • Won't this completely ruin the surface Pro's battery? I mean, it will run through more battery cicles thus reducing the battery life, won't it? This is my main concern… Please help 🆘

Also, if I connect a surfacebook 3 to an external monitor… will it stay quiet? I've heard that in some laptops the fans can make a lot of noise if connected to a 4K monitor.

  • The Surface Pro is lightweight enough to throw into my bag when I leave the house and carry it around during the day⦾⦾>JustU.Faith/Surface_Pro?粒 I'm using it for so much more than I intended originally. It could easily be used as one's regular computer; despite its size, it's definitely not limited in any way like a tablet might be. I'm just delighted with it!

  • I have been using surface pro to a 4K LG adapter. The 4k videos look great, but I think that the fonts and the edges of windows look kind of jagged, like worse than they look on the surface itself. I know that I"m definitely in the 4k resolution. Is this normal? Any ideas how I can fix it? Thanks.

  • I have a Surface Pro 4 that flickers and sending back for number 3 lol. That flicker that your TV is showing through the camera? If you find you wake up in a dark room and it's flickering, like I'm now experiencing… I've just taken a video of my tv… no flicker. You may not see it with the naked eye.

  • I have a cable that connects my Surface Book 2 to any 4k device at 60Hz. I read somewhere that in order to view 4k video on a 4k tv, the device it's streaming from would need to be 4k. Is this true? If so, it sort of defeats the purpose imo.

  • Problem: I have a MS Surface Pro 4 (i7, 16gb RAM, 256 GB HD) and a MS Surface Dock. When I connect my new 4k monitor (SAMSUNG 32" Class Wide Screen Ultra HD LED 3840 x 2160 Monitor – LU32J590UQNXZA) to the MS Surface dock using either of my cables (miniDP to DP or miniDP to HDMI), the monitor works fine for a while, and then it starts cycling/flickering. I've tried numerous display settings, connecting directly to the Surface Pro miniDP port, etc., but nothing fixes it. Is the monitor simply incompatible with the Surface Pro 4, or is the active cable something I should try?
