  • The best thing to say is this. The way encryption works is you multiply our encrypted message by some secret number. So in this example you have a message of 18293 and in the example you multiply that by 1(your secret random number) so you have 18293*1=18293.

  • 41:50 Screw the chain it's over developed, inefficient & ineffective. We need alternatives to the chain we need to start making things locally and sharing the ideas globally. Shipping products half way around the planet is irrational for most products that we consume especially considering that we have the ability to send digital designs to almost any part of the world for near zero marginal cost and manufacture locally with CNC and 3D printer technology right now. We would cut our energy needs drastically and would not need to rely on ineffective governments and an ineffective private sector.

when was it ok for a whole OS to be malware basically?

microsoft should adopt googles moto; dont be evil. though i guess that would defeat the purpose.

  • I find it funny how I found out about a bunch of things the NSA does that were reported in the Snowden leaks, from reading Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six which was published in I believe 1998.

  • The most ironic part of trying to turn the military industrial complex into the space industrial complex would meet with very little resistance. There is near 1:1 overlap between space exploration equipment suppliers and defense equipment suppliers.

But the most ironic thing is that irony has absolutely nothing to do with metal.

  • You give a lot of credit to Sanders (and rightly so), but I'd just like to point out that Rand Paul and Ted Cruz have the same positions as him on all of the political issues discussed in this video.

  • 15%-22% from an F type star is a massive amount, the interesting thing is that if Jupiter was there to block the star, it will cancel only 1% of its light …so 15% to 22% is BIG , an F type star is brighter than our G star. 🙂

  • I find the concept of a dyson sphere an absurd concept, simply due to the resources it would require to construct, there would have be far more practical things that could be done with that shear amount of mass.

  • People do want bigger games, but not necessarily literally 'like the Witcher 3' to be honest. Yes, Witcher 3 is amazing in many ways, but it's also really not a perfect game. It's open world nature often seems to have withheld the developers from making an even more immersive and special experience. I liked the story, story telling and level design of Witcher 2 a lot more. I don't think we should want games that are like 60-120+ hours of content at cost of actual truly engaging experiences or worlds (ie. level design that's generic 'because open world'). I'm also talking about filler content that's very common to open world games, a lot of which just isn't that much fun.

We don't want empty open worlds that take 60 hours to walk through. We want 60 hours worth of excellent value, which if the core gameplay is good isn't that difficult to reach. I'm also a firm believer that we really don't really need superbly realistic graphics in games that really just have a very mediocre gameplay. It pains to say this, but Battlefront comes to mind here! Gameplay is extremely 'meh' compared to how good it looks. Somehow I don't think they've stroke a good balance there.

Oh and I refuse to pay full triple A price (50-70 bucks) for games that only offer up to 5 to 8 hours of gameplay and charge 30+ bucks for whatever DLC they release after that. To me that just instantly means the value isn't there. I love to see more games that offer a solid 30 hours of gameplay, without loads of backtracking or re-using parts of a level a bit too much.

  • We are already seeing affects of amd being noncompetitive. Don't know about you, but I noticed the main stream i7 part seems to be over $100 more then it used to be. In Canada, I7's used to be $320, not they are like $460 (actually the newest ones are now $490, up over $30 again).
